About Asana Lab Training

This isn’t yoga for the confused, the undecided, or the half-hearted.

Asana Lab exists because most yoga trainings are… fine. But fine doesn’t make great teachers. And surface-level education rarely builds the depth of understanding required to teach with confidence, clarity, and consistency.

We train teachers who don’t just know yoga, but actually understand it in their own bodies, and in the bodies they teach.

Our approach is rooted in clear, anatomically informed alignment, because confidence comes from understanding what you’re doing and why. From that foundation, we make space for creativity, not as performance or aesthetic, but as intelligent, responsive movement. Structure comes first, and freedom follows.

You’ll find fewer clichés here and far less posturing. We’re not interested in teaching ‘vibes’ for the sake of it. We care about depth, clarity, and mastery, and about teaching yoga in a way that is grounded, adaptable, and genuinely useful.

We’re confident because we deliver. No mystery. No pretence. Just solid skill, precise thinking, and rigorous training that prepares you to teach with authority and be taken seriously when you do.

If that sounds like you, good. You’re exactly who Asana Lab is for.

Who We Are

Asana Lab Training was born out of frustration with the watered-down yoga education ecosystem and a relentless drive to make something better.

We don’t hand out certificates for showing up. We train people who actually know what they’re doing. Every student meets the full demands of our program. Attendance alone doesn’t cut it and no one graduates until they’ve earned it.

Our instructors leave ready to teach from day one, able to deliver intelligently sequenced classes that work for a wide range of students. We understand every body is different, and the one-size-fits-all approach to training doesn’t cut it and often misses the mark. We offer real-life experience of teaching throughout the course so students can build confidence as they are learning. We also keep our cohorts small to allow for a more in-depth, collaborative experience which will accelerate confidence and allow us to cover even more content within the course.

We respect tradition, but we don’t worship it blindly. We strip away the confusion and focus on what actually works physically, mentally, and professionally.

Why it matters is simple:

The world doesn’t need more teachers who just get by and do a yoga training because it looks easy or because they need more pocket money. It needs teachers who know their stuff, teach with confidence, and make a real difference.
